The test automation workbench for you and the agents you supervise.
Build, chain and run probes against your own systems.
- HTTP, DNS, SMTP probes + chaining across them
- Agent access over MCP: your coding agent authors and runs the tests
- Unlimited probes, bundles & chains
- AI assistant: bring your own key (no token charge)
- Full API auth: OAuth2 (every flow), Basic, Bearer, API key, Digest
- GraphQL requests
- Import OpenAPI / Postman / Bruno / HAR / Insomnia / cURL
- Directory-backed GIT workspaces
- Run history, diff & JSON evidence export
- No account, no cloud, runs locally
Build and test integrations across the protocols your stack actually speaks. The signup-flow test you have been writing in bash.
- Everything in Workbench
- IMAP, LDAP stateful protocols (Action Mode forms)
- MySQL / MariaDB, MongoDB, PostgreSQL & SQL Server, query & assert on the database
- Redis, drive a command sequence and assert on the reply
- FTP, list and transfer files, or drive the control connection command by command
- SpamAssassin message scoring
- Out-of-band callback detection over HTTP, DNS & SMTP
- MCP server testing (Model Context Protocol)
- MCP interception: read and tamper with an agent's tool traffic through the proxy
- Full scripting (JavaScript, with code editor)
- Test suites: run an ordered set of chains with setup and teardown, and a JUnit report for CI
- Skills: name a chain or script as a capability an agent can call, with a fixed input contract
- MITM proxy & interception (TLS termination)
- Service virtualization: mock rules in the proxy, so you can answer for a dependency that is down or does not exist yet
- Enterprise & Windows auth (NTLM, PtH, SPNEGO/Kerberos, AWS SigV4)
- Library: generic APIs, integrations, cloud SDKs, infrastructure (Kubernetes, Docker, Vault, Prometheus, Elasticsearch)
Everything Engineering has, plus the offensive kit: pentesting across HTTP, mail, directory, and storage protocols.
- Everything in Engineering (mocking, MITM proxy, databases, scripting, the lot)
- Fuzzing & iterators
- Raw byte-for-byte requests & request-smuggling detection
- SMB protocol
- Kerberos probe (AS-REP Roasting, Kerberoasting)
- Freestyle: your own raw TCP or UDP exchange, sent byte for byte
- Pentest libraries (per-protocol + domain-specific)
For organisations whose security review starts at "where does the binary run?". It runs on your infrastructure, inside your domain, under your rules.
- Everything in Security
- Execution server deployed in your own environment, as many as you need
- SSO, SLA, custom contracts
- Custom protocol modules, built to order for what you are testing
- Priority support
- Unlimited users
Missing a protocol you'd like in the mix?
Tell us and we will look at it, because every protocol in VirtuProbe is hand-rolled against its RFC, and the module ecosystem is built to grow. A protocol we don't ship yet isn't a wall: Freestyle lets you define the raw exchange and send it today, and if you would rather have a proper module for it, that is something we can add for you. Tell us what you need and we'll build it in.
Ask for a 14 day demo.
The Free workbench is yours for good, but it only covers HTTP, DNS and SMTP. If you want to point the paid protocols, the proxy or the fuzzer at your own systems before you decide, write to [email protected] and say which tier you want to evaluate. You get a key for 14 full days, no card, no call.
One license per user. Three devices each.
Every paid license is for one person, who can install and activate VirtuProbe on up to three of their own devices: laptop, desktop, a VM, whatever you work on, and the three go with the person rather than being counted per machine.
Three covers most people. From my own setup I know it does not always, so if you work across more machines than that, write to [email protected] and we will raise your limit.
Need to cover more people? Buy a license each. Enterprise is per organisation: unlimited users inside your domain, one invoice, one SSO config.
FAQ
Can I switch between Engineering and Security tiers?
Yes, anytime. If you're already on Engineering and need fuzzing or the security protocols (SMB, Kerberos, Freestyle) for a specific engagement, upgrade to Security for that month and downgrade back. No commitment.
What's the difference between Engineering and Security?
Engineering is for building and testing your own integrations, whether that is APIs, email flows, LDAP-backed auth or cloud services, with the MITM proxy and service-virtualization mocks for debugging and standing in for unfinished services. Security adds the offensive kit: fuzzing, the security protocol suite (SMB, Kerberos, Freestyle) and the pentest libraries, because the two tiers are aimed at two different jobs.
Can I try a paid tier before buying?
Yes. Write to [email protected], tell us which tier you want to evaluate, and we will issue a 14 day demo key for it. No card, and nothing to cancel when it runs out: the app drops back to the Free workbench on its own and your data stays where it is.
Do you offer free access for students or academics?
Yes. The VirtuProbe Academic License gives full Security tier access free, with verification (institutional .edu email, enrolment letter, or faculty page). Apply at /academic.
What happens if I downgrade?
Your data stays. Features above your new tier become read-only until you re-upgrade. Nothing is deleted.
Do you have GDPR / data residency options?
Yes. VirtuProbe runs as a desktop app and keeps all your data locally on your own machine, in your own jurisdiction. Nothing is stored in our cloud.
Where does the binary run?
On your own machine. VirtuProbe ships as a desktop app (macOS, Linux, Windows) with everything it needs in the one install, so there is no server to stand up and no cloud round-trip. Your workspaces and data stay local.
Do you take card or invoice?
Free / Engineering / Security: card via Paddle. Enterprise: invoice with PO, net-30 default, custom terms negotiable.
Can I export my probes if I cancel?
Yes. Probes and chains are local files in a documented format. Export from the app at any time, including after your license expires (Free tier permissions still apply).
